A large antique flat-weave from the Karabagh region, SW Caucasus (present-day Armenia), which consists of two identical panels stitched together - a common method to weave large pieces on narrow looms. The design consists of alternating bands of color decorated with intricate brocaded motifs, all executed in a very pleasing range of soft natural colors. This is a very high quality and sturdy weaving in excellent state of preservation.

Very well preserved, sturdy and clean

If desired, the panels can be separated and used as two runners.
