A very beautiful antique rug, attributed to Karadja (or Qarajeh) in the Heriz county, one of the most prolific rug weaving districts of Northwest Iran. A very refined, older example, featuring a highly unusual composition.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved with only gentle wear. Minor losses to ends. Sturdy and clean.
