An old village rug from Central Turkey, woven in the shaggy "tulu" tradition - the word means hairy in Turkish, describing a simple, coarsely woven rug, made to provide warmth and comfort for the weaver’s family.

Unusual design and color palette, further enhanced by the dramatic color shift at the bottom.
