A tribal kilim (flat-weave) from the Azerbaijan province in Northwest Iran, attributed to the Shahsavan tribes, featuring a classic design in a lovely color palette.
The kilim was woven in two symmetrical halves and joined with a seam in the middle - a common trick for tribal weavers using narrow looms at home.
