A very refined example of weaving by the Baluch tribal groups, in the ever-popular "prayer rug" format, featuring a well-articulated "tree-of-life" motif in the center, surrounded by multiple borders, each with a distinct design. The light brown color is most likely camel hair which Baluch weavers often used alongside sheep's wool. Recommended as a wall hanging as well as a floor rug.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved with only gentle wear. Complete, clean and fairly sturdy.
