An old tribal flat-weave from central Turkey, woven in the intricate "jijim" brocading technique. The rug was woven in two symmetrical halves, a common practice for tribal weavers utilizing narrow looms at home. This is a lovely example in very good state of preservation.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean

The panels can be separated and used as two runners.
