Turkey, Central Anatolia: Mid-20th Century
Wool pile on wool foundation: wool
A beautiful old tribal rug from Central Turkey, woven in the loose and shaggy style known as "tulu." This is an older example with amazingly soft wool in natural ivory with random colorful knots. The piece has great patina and some wear due to its age. Still a very beautiful rug that can be used in low traffic.
Condition & Remarks
Some gentle wear but clean and ready for moderate traffic.
