An antique tribal rug from the Iran-Afghan border area, attributed to groups generally defined as Baluch. Deep saturated colors, highly stylized geometric designs are hallmarks of this region's weaving traditions. Displaying a fairly well-known design, this one is a real gem with incredibly soft and shiny wool and high quality weave. In excellent state of preservation.
