Woven in the "tulu" style but much more sparsely knotted, this is a very charming little rug that was probably intended for personal use by the weaver. Notice the blue glass beads tied at the bottom of the fringes, a traditional good luck charm in Anatolia. A wonderful example of authentic tribal art.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean. Small repair at the bottom end.
