An old tribal kilim from Southern Iran, possibly by the Qashqai, in a simple, minimalist design, often assumed to be a meal mat, "sofra". Entirely woven with natural, un-dyed wool, the field in ivory-cream, the border in rich dark brown.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean. Minor discoloration in spots, which do not detract from its beauty.
