A very handsome antique carpet of large size from NW Persia (Iran) attributed to the famed village of Bakshaish in the Heriz region. Very pleasing color palette featuring camel and rusty reds in the field framed by a light blue border. Remarkably well preserved, in nearly full pile and no repairs - there are simply not many antique carpets in such good condition at this point.
