A fantastic Turkish carpet from the Kayseri region with a highly unusual design and color palette. Though inspired by classical themes, Kayseri carpets can display very creative, whimsical interpretations of age-old designs. The current example is certainly one of the best of its type we've seen and is in excellent state of preservation.
