7'7" x 10'10" (231cm x 330cm) Iran, Southwest Persia: Early 20th Century Knotted pile: wool
$8,950 On Hold
A large tribal rug from Southwestern Iran, attributed to the Khamseh tribal groups who reside in the Fars province. Their rugs are often labelled "Shiraz", the provincial capital and market town where such rugs were often sold.
This is a very nice example with a whimsical design, rich details and excellent quality wool.
