An antique tribal flat-weave from Azerbaijan, locally called “shadda”, woven in a balanced plain weave technique on multi-colored warps, creating a plaid-like effect.
It is a somewhat lightweight weaving, sturdy enough for low traffic; it would also make a great cover for a table or bed.
