An antique Caucasian kilim in a style attributed to the Kuba region of Azerbaijan, woven in the characteristic long format.

Large diamond shapes dominate the field, surrounded by human and floral figures in addition to other familiar kilim motifs. Notice how the weaver stopped before completing the last large diamond - such imperfections being a hallmark homemade weavings.
