An old tribal floor cover from Northern Iran made for domestic use, woven in six panels on a narrow loom, with alternating bands of black-brown and ivory. Note the pleasing tonal variations in the close-up photos, lending depth and character to this authentic weaving that cannot be matched by its many modern imitators.

Very well preserved, sturdy and clean
