An antique carpet from the prolific looms of Kula in Western Turkey - the design is well-known, but the color palette is unusual. A profusion of floral motifs, including tulips and carnations, the quintessential flowers of classical Turkish art.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean. Age appropriare corrosion of black-brown dyes and some old repiling. Showing its age, but still looking great.
