An antique Kazak rug of the so-called Karachov (Karatchoph) type from the region south of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, in the Caucasian mountains. This is a very nice example and of collectible quality.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean. Full pile with minor dark brown corrosion, age appropriate. A few minor repairs, barely visible.
