A great antique carpet from one of the most prolific centers of weaving in Iran. The design is richly detailed and delicately drawn; the color palette is subtle and the light blue used throughout is a special touch.
A relatively early example. The slender proportions indicate this carpet was probably made for a local client, rather than for the export market.
Condition & Remarks
Well preserved, clean and complete, with overall, age appropriate wear. No significant repairs. Still looking great.
