5'2" x 8'3" (157cm x 251cm) Turkey, Western Anatolia: Early 20th Century Knotted pile: wool
$4,950
A lovely old example of this well-known, so-called "Kömürcü" type from Kula, one of the most prolific weaving centers of Western Turkey.
With tulips and carnations and a profusion of other stylized floral forms, these rugs are direct descendants of Ottoman Turkish weavings from the classical period.
