Flat-weave (kilim): goat hair, cotton rag
A simple old flat-weave from Turkey, woven with an ingenious mixture of colorful cotton rag, goat hair and wool, originally used as an everyday floor cover in the weaver's household. It consists of two panels as it was woven on a narrow domestic loom. One of the nicest examples of this type.

Very well preserved, sturdy and clean
