A wonderful Moroccan Berber carpet from the north-central region of the Middle Atlas Mountains, attributed to the Ait Seghrouchène tribe. A fine and unusually dense structure enabled the weaver(s) to execute a suprising variety of details, depicting a lot of human figures, camels and other animals and a familiar range of signs and symbols.
