Flat-weave (kilim): wool, goat hair
A simple, utilitarian tribal floor cover, woven with a mixture of goat hair and wool in many shades of natural brown. A row of brocaded motifs were perhaps meant to personalize it. Both ends are finished with beautifully braided fringes. A very high quality example.
