An old blanket from Eastern Turkey, woven with the fine, soft hair of the indigenous angora goat, also known as mohair. An older example in rare large format, woven in four narrow panels. The use of yellow in the center is unusual, as these blankets were almost always made with natural, undyed colors of the goat hair.

It can be used on the floor in low traffic, but perhaps better as a wall hanging, or a blanket as originally intended.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved with some gentle, age-appropriate wear - clean and sturdy
