A beautiful "suzani" embroidered cover from Uzbekistan. This was made after the post-Soviet liberation of the country that saw a revival of traditional arts and crafts when local artists were inspired by the 19th century masterpieces. This is a particularly refined example in unusually large format that would make a great wall hanging, a bedspread or a table cover.
