Embroidery, silk stiching on cotton
A lovely example of traditional Uzbek embroidery in a style attributed to the city of Samarkand displaying a cheerful design and color palette. It would make a wonderful wall hanging, table cover or bedspread. It appears to have date, 1963, stitched on one corner.
