A complete pair of tribal saddlebags from Eastern Turkey - the fronts of the bags are in "sumak" brocading technique, the back is flat-woven with alternating stripes.

Finding a new use for such objects can be challenging. In this case, the pockets can be filled to make a large double cushion for the floor.
