A tribal storage / transport bag face by the Luri nomads of Southwestern Iran. The larger panel on top, woven in "sumak" brocading technique, depicts stylized flowers; the narrow panel at the bottom is woven in knotted pile technique. A rare item.

The piece lies flat and can be used as a floor rug. It would also make a great wall hanging, or can be draped over a table or chair.
