A lovely old tribal flat-weave from the Iran-Afghan border regions, by one of the tribal groups called Baluch. Consisting of two symmetrical halves, woven on a narrow loom, the kilim is decorated with alternating bands of brocaded and slit-woven motifs and plain color. Soft color palette very good condition and good proportions.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean.
