A great example of Turkmen tribal weaving featuring the classical design of the Tekke Turkmen tribe, erroneously called a "Bukhara" carpet, as Turkmens would often bring their carpets to the markets of that city to sell.
This is a carpet of great age and quality. It is also in remarkable state of preservation and could still be used on the floor.
