A lovely old kilim from Southeastern Turkey, woven with nothing but natural brown wool in many rich tonal variations. What makes it even more interesting is the so-called "lazy" lines, where the weaver reversed course rather than weaving in continuous straight lines. The kilim consists of two narrow panels, which can be separated and used as two runners, if desired.
Condition & Remarks
