A very handsome, antique tribal kilim by the Shahsavan nomads of Northwestern Iran, in characteristic wide runner format, featuring concentric diamond shapes and secondary motifs, including animal and human forms, some of which were executed in knotted pile technique. An authentic and very charming example with real age and in very good state of preservation.
Condition & Remarks
Very well preserved, sturdy and clean.
