A tribal flat-weave of unusually large size, by the Kurdish tribes of Northeastern Iran, woven in the intricate "sumak" brocading technique. The design is commonly seen in the saddlebags and other small weavings of this tribe, but is quite rare in such a large rug.

Very well preserved, sturdy and clean
