A beautiful embroidered cover from Uzbekistan, created in the "Suzani" style, with silk stitching on cotton cloth. This was made after the Post-Soviet liberation of the country that saw a revival of traditional arts and crafts when local artists were inspired by the 19th century masterpieces. This is an unusually large example that would make a great wall hanging, a bedspread or a table cover.
