$2,950 Sold
Unusually large tribal rug made in felt technique: matting, condensing and pressing wool fibers, probably the oldest form of fabric. Felt rugs were the everyday floor covers in Central Asian nomads' tents. This one is unusual in having different colors and design on two sides. Both sides can be used.
