An old tribal flat-weave from Central Turkey, in the characteristic wide runner format, woven with wool in natural tones ranging from beige to dark brown. The care-free rhythm of the bands and the so-called lazy lines along the center lend this weaving authentic charm that cannot be imitated by its modern look-alikes. The weave is tight, the wool quality is superb and the kilim is in near-perfect state of preservation, including its original finishes on all sides. A great example of its type.
