An antique tribal rug from the Iran-Afghan border area, attributed to groups generally defined as Baluch. Deep saturated colors, highly stylized geometric designs are hallmarks of this region's weaving traditions. Displaying a fairly well-known design, this rug comes in a highly unusual elongated format. Richly detailed with excellent natural dyes.
